An impalpable, invisible space of appropriation, of ‘shading’ the work
Two dancers to whom the same ‘middleman’, Dominique Brun, has passed on The Afternoon of a Faun (Nijinski, 1912). Two different approaches, two different rhythms, two different breathings . . . And this space of difference, encounter and play is where interpretation thrives.
Effacing oneself in order to catch a glimpse of the infinite, of the indefinable.
